Where: Mrs. B’s First Grade Classroom, HCA Room 113 When: Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday mornings in June, 9:30-11:30 Students will bring a snack to enjoy during a daily read aloud time friends, your child will grow in phonics, phonemic awareness, spelling, reading fluency, and reading comprehension. Unlock the Secrets of Reading Ever wondered why the letters make the sounds they do when they all get together and think no one’s watching? Students entering grades K-1 will use their imaginations to “crack the codes” of reading in a playful environment. As they enjoy creativity, games, and stories with their Designed as a 4 week program, but will definitely still get benefit if you have to miss a week for travel! Cost: $80 per week, or $300 if prepaid for the full program

CLEP TEST PREP

BIOLOGY & CHEMISTRY

This course is designed to help HCA students who have successfully completed their Biology and Chemistry courses pass the CLEP exam to receive college credit for their course. This course reviews and reinforces materials and provides guided practice, practice tests, and CLEP test-taking strategies. All CLEP study materials will be provided. Chemistry CLEP students will need to bring their school iPad to be able to practice using the integrated calculator they will be allowed to use on the exam.
