UNE FÊTE DU CANADA POUR LES JEUNES À CASSELMAN
Les jeunes David Laflèche, Tristan Sabourin, Valérie Laflèche et Hélène Laflèche étaient tout heureux de brandir le petit drapeau de la fête du Canada, à l’aréna J.R. Brisson, à Casselman. Ils sont ici accompagnés du papa des Laflèche, Kevin. Tout au long de la journée, les résidents de Casselman ont participé à toutes sortes d’activités et, comme les autres villages qui ont célébré cette fête, tous ont eu droit à leur feu d’artifice. —photo Annie Lafortune

SEVERAL FAMILIES CELEBRATE CANADA DAY IN RUSSELL

Russell celebrated Canada Day by highlighting the importance of its many families. The festivities began with countless local children making their way down Concession road, towards the arena, where they happily played in inflatable structures. — photo Annie Lafortune
The Lions Club of Russell as well as the Agricultural Society of Russell organized the festivities, which have been celebrated in the village for well over 31 years. Red was a prominent color during the festivities, worn by many. — photo Annie Lafortune
