Things to remember… Packaged Itinerary This means that the price you see includes the group rate for each attraction within the itinerary that is denoted in bold . Suggested Itinerary This means that we are providing you with ideas for a tour that we would be happy to arrange for you if you so wish. The Sales Team can provide you with a revised quotation price based on any tour ideas that you feel would best suit your customer base. We would then arrange guided tours, purchase of tickets and payment of entrance fees on your behalf. What To Do All the attractions and hotels featured on the following pages can be mixed and matched according to your requirements. We are always happy to provide you with a bespoke solution for your tour programme. Additional Hotels We only have room in the brochure to feature some of our hotels. We have reserved space at many more. Call us for more information. Overnight Hotels We understand that a successful tour is not just about the mainstay and that the hotels your passengers stay at along the way are a very important start and end to the tour. We have a great selection of hotels in excellent locations to suit all tastes and budgets. If you would like overnights adding to any of your UK & Ireland tours, please give our Sales Team a call. Ultra Low Emissions Zone (ULEZ) From 8 April 2019, most vehicles will need to meet exhaust emission standards (ULEZ standards) or pay a daily charge, when travelling in central London. The area covered by the ULEZ is the same area as the Congestion Charging Zone and will be clearly signposted with road signs showing where it applies. There will be no barriers or toll booths. Cameras will read vehicle number plates as they are driven within the zone to check against a database. The ULEZ will operate 24 hours a day, every day of the year, including weekends and public holidays. If a vehicle does not meet the ULEZ emissions standards and the daily charge is not paid, a Penalty Charge Notice (PCN) will be issued to the registered keeper. This penalty is in addition to any CC or LEZ penalties received. For more information please visit: https://tfl.gov.uk/modes/driving/ultra-low- emission-zone Drivers Hours Our itineraries are created with drivers’ regulations in mind, EU rules Regulation 561/2006, and look to comply with daily driving, break and rest requirements. For some of our longer Europe and Ireland itineraries, a driver’s day off has not always been incorporated as they can be operated under the 12-day rule. However we are happy to amend the itinerary to allow for a driver’s day off or arrange local hire if you require it.

V VALUE HOTEL

VALUE HOTELS

STANDARD HOTELS

COLLECTION HOTELS

If a hotel is described as a ‘Value’ product, it will be very competitively priced and may not offer as many additional services as our standard products, such as a welcome drink, porterage or a choice of menu. The bedrooms and public areas may also be very simply furnished and this is reflected in the price. However, the standards of group-friendliness, cleanliness and quality of customer service should be no different to those at our ‘standard’ hotels.

All of our hotels are individually selected for their high standards of group- friendliness, cleanliness and quality of customer service . These attributes are essential requirements for all our products. The majority of our hotels also provide porterage and some provide a welcome drink as ‘standard’. In terms of access, the majority of our hotels also either have ground floor bedrooms or lift access . On the few occasions where this is not the case, we will make this clear in our hotel description.

If a hotel is described as a ‘Collection’ product, it is considered by our staff to provide something ‘extra special’ to our groups, over and above the norm for either a 3 or 4 star hotel. Put simply, our ‘Collection’ products have the wow factor!

NEW Look out for our NEW hotels and itineraries.

Glendalough

A Grand Tour of Ireland We stay in some of Ireland’s key destinations on our fantastic new 12 day packaged tour which features top attractions and the stunning scenery of the Wild Atlantic Way – we take in Killarney, Sligo, Galway and Donegal - just look at what is included!

century, the castle is adorned with a magnificent collection of medieval furniture, furnishings and works of art, whilst the 19th century Folk Park reconstructs the homes and environment of Ireland of over a century ago. Set in 26 acres, the impressive park features over 30 buildings, including a fully licensed working pub, in a “living” village. Day 8 County Clare to Sligo via Galway City En route to our next hotel in Sligo, we stop in Galway where we spend time at leisure exploring this vibrant, colourful city – named 2020 European Capital of Culture! Admire the beautiful colours of its portside houses and enjoy the infectious rhythms of the traditional Irish music found in almost every pub and bar. Other attractions include the Spanish Arch, built in 1584 to protect the city’s quays, and Galway Cathedral. From here, we continue to the fabulous Sligo Park Hotel. Day 9 Sligo Driver’s Day Off This morning, we take a short journey on the local bus to Sligo (just 2 miles away) and spend time at leisure exploring this county town. Follow in the footsteps of Sligo’s most famous son, the poet Yeats, and visit the sights and scenes that inspired him. The town’s most popular attractions include the Sligo County Museum & Art Gallery, Yeats Society Memorial Building and Sligo Abbey. Day 10 Donegal After breakfast, we drive to Donegal where we embark upon a 75 minute circular cruise of stunning Donegal Bay, complete with an on-board sing-a-long! After our cruise, we have free time for lunch in Donegal before we travel south to Ireland’s oldest pottery producer, Belleek Pottery which has been welcoming visitors since 1857. We enjoy a 30 minute guided tour at the award winning visitor centre. Day 11 Ireland’s Hidden Heartlands We depart Sligo this morning for a scenic drive back across Ireland. On the way, we visit Strokestown Park & the Irish National Famine Museum , enjoying a 45 minute guided tour of the Georgian Palladian mansion and a 40 minute tour of the Famine Museum housed in the stable yards. From here, we make our way to our overnight hotel , ready to board the ferry home tomorrow. Day 12 Departure After breakfast, we make our way home.

PAC K AG E D I T I N E R A RY Day 1 Arrival in Portlaoise We arrive at the Midlands Park Hotel in time for dinner.

Day 2 WicklowMountains National Park This morning we travel to the monastic settlement of Glendalough in the Wicklow Mountains National Park, one of Ireland’s most beautiful visitor destinations. We spend time at the Visitor Centre and explore the Sensory Garden and peaceful surroundings. In the afternoon, we head to Kildare, the home of Ireland’s valuable horse racing industry. The town of Kildare is home to the Irish National Stud and has long been the home of many thoroughbred champions. We take a fascinating guided tour of the stables where racehorses are conceived, born and raised and we also have the opportunity to stroll through the wonderful Japanese Gardens, one of the best examples in Europe. Day 3 Portlaoise to Killarney via Blarney We begin our day at Blarney Castle , built nearly 600 years ago. Since then, millions have visited the castle in order to kiss the legendary Blarney Stone to gain the gift of eloquence. The grounds of the castle are incredibly beautiful and believed by some to have a genuinely mystical quality - decide for yourself after exploring the bewitching themed gardens, herbaceous borders and woodland walks. We also have time to visit the Blarney Woollen Mills (within walking distance of the castle) known as the “largest Irish store in the world”, selling a wide selection of authentic gifts from Ireland. From here, we continue our journey to Killarney and our next hotel. Day 4 Killarney Driver’s Day Off We have time at leisure in Killarney today. Take a jaunting car ride through the spectacular Killarney National Park to Ross Castle or simply enjoy exploring the After breakfast we begin our journey around the mystical and unspoilt ‘Ring of Kerry’, one of the most spectacular circular driving routes in Ireland. Day 6 County Kerry to County Clare via Foynes This morning we drive to Foynes Flying Boat Museum where we enjoy a guided tour.
