MSCA ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING AND TOWNHALL 24 AUGUST MIGHT Partnership Hub, Cyberjaya
The Malaysia Smart Cities Alliance Association (MSCA) Annual General Meeting took place at the MIGHT Partnership Hub. Dato’ Haji Mohd Noorazam Dato’ Haji Osman, Mayor of Johor Bahru, and Rushdi Abdul Rahim, Deputy CEO of MIGHT, were present at the meeting. Ts Dr Raslan Ahmad, Chairman of MSCA, highlighted the organisation’s achievements in 2022, with 100 representatives from MSCA organisational members in attendance. This was followed by a presentation on the progress and achievements of 2023 by Azura Ali, Honorary Secretary of MSCA. The MSCA Townhall: Accelerating Path for Smart City Implementation attracted 105 public and private sector participants and MSCA members. Four distinguished speakers deliberated on various key topics: Dato’ Haji Mohd Noorazam Dato Haji Osman, Mayor of Johor Bahru City Council; Mohd Fadzil Abdullah, Mayor of Pengerang Municipal Council; Md Farabi Yussoff Md Yussoff, Mayor of PLANMalaysia; and Associate Professor Dr Chen Jit Ern from Sunway Group. The town hall showcased a strong commitment to advancing Malaysia’s smart city initiatives and reflected a growing interest in the field.
