SUSTAINABILITY AND RENEWABLE ENERGY FORUM (SAREF) 3.0 6-7 SEPTEMBER Sarawak
MIGHT in collaboration with Universiti Tenaga Nasional (UNITEN), participated in the Sustainable and Renewable Energy Forum (SAREF) 3.0 held in Kuching, Sarawak, on September 6 and 7, 2023. The primary focus of their participation was to promote the “Development of Replication and Scale-Up Plan of Smart Grid in Malaysia” project. This initiative aims to identify key areas for the replication and scale-up plan, considering factors that influence the implementation of smart grid technology in selected cities. The goal is to formulate a comprehensive replication and scale-up plan for smart grids, enabling other cities in Malaysia to adopt this technology rapidly. The project outcome aligns with creating the first Smart Grid Replication and Scale-up plan for Energy-Intensive Cities in Malaysia, considering social, technological, economic, environmental, political, regulatory, and stakeholder acceptance aspects.
