SIGNING OF CO-INVESTMENT AGREEMENT BETWEEN VENTURETECH, VENTURETECH SBI AND BAYO PAY 14 AUGUST Bayo Pay’s office, Kuala Lumpur

VentureTECH’s investment in Bayo Pay represents a significant foray into the Fintech market, marking a milestone since its establishment. This strategic move aligns with VentureTECH’s mission to nurture and support local fintech talents. It underscores VentureTECH’s commitment to an impact investment philosophy, aiming to foster positive socioeconomic outcomes with the country’s vision of embracing Industry 4.0. The ultimate goal is to create of a more equitable, inclusive, and sustainable growth trajectory for Malaysia.​ The visit was also attended by Madam Ruziah Shafei, Deputy Secretary-General (Planning and Science Enculturation) of MOSTI, Mr Ahmad Redzuan Sidek, Chief Executive Officer of VentureTECH, and key management team members from VentureTECH.​

Datuk Ts Dr Haji Aminuddin Hassim, Secretary General, Ministry of Science, Technology, and Innovation (MOSTI), conducted an official visit to Bayo Pay (M) Sdn Bhd, a company in which VentureTECH has invested. The visit began with a comprehensive briefing on Bayo Pay’s ongoing projects and innovative products. Following the briefing, Datuk Ts Dr Haji Aminuddin embarked on a tour of Bayo Pay’s office, where he had the opportunity to meet and engage with the Bayo Pay team.​ Bayo Pay is a Malaysian-owned Fintech company that provides a digital payment platform through partnerships with corporate clients, developing a scalable private label payment solution by combining the latest technologies in mobile, finance, and card security. Their current product offerings include Co-Branded Mastercard Prepaid cards, a Mobile Wallet, and other value-added services, ranging from financial to non-financial products tailored to their clients’ needs.​
