NUKLEAR MALAYSIA CAPACITY BUILDING AND DEVELOPMENT OF NUCLEAR TECHNOLOGY FORESIGHT 2050 AUGUST & OCTOBER Bangi, Selangor
MIGHT collaborated with Nuklear Malaysia to advance their capabilities and strategic vision. The primary objectives included mainstreaming Foresight understanding and practices among Nuklear Malaysia researchers, utilising Foresight tools and methodologies for the future direction of the nuclear industry, both in energy and non-energy sectors, and developing a comprehensive Foresight technology report on nuclear technology.. The project involved conducting a scenario planning workshop comprising a mix of Nuklear Malaysia and MOSTI officials, as well as a training workshop on T-Plan for the project. The training days took place on: A) 1 st - 2 nd August 2023, T-Plan – Technology road mapping with Agensi Nuklear Malaysia. B) 17 th - 18 th October 2023, Nuclear Technology Foresight & Road Mapping 2050 at Agensi Nuklear Malaysia. Additionally, MIGHT assisted Nuklear Malaysia in applying Foresight principles to craft a detailed Technology Foresight Report on nuclear technologies. The project represents a significant step forward in enhancing strategic planning and Foresight capabilities within Nuklear Malaysia, contributing to the overall advancement of the nuclear industry in both energy and non-energy domains.
