SHARING ECONOMY STUDY: ENGAGEMENT SESSION WITH MyDESA PLATFORM SERVICE PROVIDERS 7 JANUARY Kelantan
An engagement session took place with MyDesa platform service providers in rural areas to improve the reach and impact of the public survey campaign for the Sharing Economy Study. This collaboration brought significant community engagement and logistical assistance to the survey activities in Rantau Panjang and Tanah Merah, Kelantan. With the help of Akla Services Sdn Bhd, the survey team, led by Dr Abdul Rahman and Wan Ahmad Zaim, successfully engaged with over 200 respondents who are service providers on the MyDesa platform. This partnership facilitated a deeper understanding of the issues and challenges faced by the community. The collaboration reflects a multi-stakeholder approach, demonstrating how local organisations can enhance national initiatives. The outreach efforts enhanced the survey results and established a framework for future projects, highlighting the effectiveness of collaborative work in addressing challenges and opportunities within the sharing economy in rural areas like Kelantan.
