KUALA LUMPUR ENGINEERING SCIENCE FAIR (KLESF) 27-29 OCTOBER MINES International Exhibition & Convention Centre, Selangor
KLESF 2023 was jointly organised by the ASEAN Academy of Engineering and Technology (AAET), the Institution of Engineers Malaysia (IEM), Malaysian Industry-Government Group for High Technology (MIGHT), the Malaysian Invention and Design Society (MINDS), Tunku Abdul Rahman University of Management and Technology (TAR UMT), Universiti Tunku Abdul Rahman (UTAR), and the Malaysia Mental Literacy Movement (MMLM). The 10 th edition of KLESF took place as a three-day event at Mines International
Exhibition and Convention Centre. This event provided a vibrant platform for students to actively engage with STEM concepts in a hands-on and stimulating manner. Featured activities included a STEM competition showcasing innovative inventions by 250 teams, a musical robot band, and the 17 th Malaysia Festival of the Mind. KLESF The Fair serves as a conduit to spark and amplify student interest in STEM subjects while also advocating for the essential role of STEM in driving socio-economic prosperity and sustainable development. Furthermore, it encourages active involvement from businesses and industries in promoting STEM education and career pathways for young individuals. The overarching goal of KLESF is to nurture a collaborative ecosystem that brings together schools, educators, industries, public and private sectors for the exchange of knowledge, experiences, and best practices in science and mathematics education.
