DUBAI FUTURE FOUNDATION VISIT TO MIGHT

MIGHT welcomed NTIS MRANTI’s strategic partners from Dubai led by Khalifah Al-Qama, Director of Future Labs, in conjunction with their road tour in Malaysia accompanied by representatives from Dubai Future Foundation, Dubai Economy & Tourism, and the Supreme Legislative Committee.​ The Dubai delegates shared information about their organisations and their interest in learning how corporate, regulatory, and governmental bodies in Malaysia assist and nurture Malaysian technology businesses.​ Together, the Malaysia Smart Cities Alliance Association (MSCA) and Kommu, a company owned by NTIS, shared on Malaysia’s technology solutions.​ The conversation led to discussions about MIGHT’s objectives and the future of Malaysia, during which both parties agreed to consider potential cooperative projects that could benefit both countries. ​

MIGHT COURTESY VISIT TO SELANGOR STATE EXECUTIVE COUNCIL OFFICE

MIGHT team, led by Ts Dr Raslan Ahmad, FASc paid a visit to the new Selangor State Councillor for Islamic Religious & Digital Innovation, Dr Fahmi Ngah.​ Ts Dr Raslan briefed on new smart city initiatives for Selangor State, presenting two projects, the GEF-8 : Sustainable Cities Integrated Programme and the Country Programme Action Plan (CPAP).​In general, this discussion aims to obtain support in terms of resources from the state through direct involvement from agencies, departments, and community leaders and to seek direction on a dedicated entity coordination for the state level.​ Dr Fahmi Ngah welcomed both projects and showed his support to assist MIGHT in delivering the projects for the benefit of Selangor State.
