Invest Selangor Berhad plays an important role as the state’s investment agency to ensure the growth and relevance of the rail industry in Selangor. Malaysia Rail Industry Corporation (MARIC), as a committee council, supports the vision for rail development in Selangor. As a voice for the industry, MARIC advocates for the sustainability of the local rail industry. MARIC suggested that the government should not rely solely on OEMs but instead, be aligned with local players since 90% of MARIC members represent the systems work engineering, and they can provide solutions regarding to the rail technology systems.
