TECHNOMART MALAYSIA-TÜRKIYE 10 JULY Ankara, Türkiye​

TechnoMart Malaysia, a flagship programme of MIGHT, facilitates collaboration opportunities for high-tech industry players in Malaysia. This marked the first TechnoMart held outside Malaysia, co-organised by MIGHT and TÜBITAK, along with support from TUSAS and Havelsan. The main objectives of TECHNOMART were to address global challenges, identify areas for mutual collaboration between Türkiye and Malaysia, enhance human capital development through joint training programmes focused on technical skills, and support Malaysian high-tech industries in their international endeavours, particularly with Türkiye. The event was attended by over 150 participants from 86 Türkiye organisations. Prof Dr Hassan Mandal, President of TÜBITAK, delivered a presentation on “Co-Creation Based Collaboration for Stronger R&D and Innovation Ecosystems” to the participants. The programme was officially opened by His Excellency Sazali Mustafa Kamal, Ambassador of Malaysia to Turkiye. The event included insightful discussions on Potential Opportunities for Collaboration with Türkiye, featuring speakers such as Prof Dr Temel KOTIL, Prof Dr Temel KOTIL, President and CEO of the Turkish Aerospace Industry, Mr Şevket Ünal, Vice President of HAVELSAN, and Dr Ali GÖRÇİN, President of TÜBITAK BILGEM. Following the talk series, a Business Matching Session took place where five prominent Malaysian companies - Aeronerve, FAAS Engineering and Consultancy Sdn Bhd, System Consultancy Services Sdn Bhd, Mercu Tekun Sdn Bhd, and Gading Group - met with their Turkish counterparts to explore potential collaboration opportunities.
