Malaysia Rail Development Corporation (MRDC), an agency under Ministry of Transport (MOT) and Malaysia Rail Industry Corporation (MARIC) organised International Railway Symposium – Sustainable Railway: Connecting Nations, Preserving Futures, a premier event dedicated to convene a diverse group of stakeholders, including government agencies, industry leaders, academics, researchers, and students. This event was officiated by YB Loke Siew Fook, Minister of Transport and was later concluded by Datuk Haji Hasbi Habibollah, Deputy Minister of Transport. Participants had the chance to network with key government agencies and industry players, creating valuable business connections. The symposium encourages the sharing and exchange of ideas and best practices between stakeholders, fostering a collaborative environment. Attendees gained insights into the future direction of Malaysia’s rail industry, focusing on sustainable rail environment and innovation.
