SAFINA’S PRE-LAUNCHING PHASE 1 PROJECT 2050 28 OCTOBER Miri, Sarawak
MIGHT attended Safina’s pre-launching ceremony of two vessels in Miri, Sarawak, launched by YB Dato’ Sri Lee Kim Shin, Minister of Transport Sarawak. Petronas and the Malaysian shipyard, under the Association of Marine Industries Malaysia, have initiated the construction of 11 offshore support vessels (OSVs) as Safina’s first phase Project. MIGHT was instrumental in providing the essential concepts and building capabilities of OSVs through our report and strategic plan in Malaysia. Our local shipyards have successfully addressed the challenges posed by the advancement of technology and have the capacity and expertise to execute and fulfill national project requirements.
