IN THE SPOTLIGHT

When a friend first approached Danielle about Melaleuca, she wasn’t interested. But her friend came back later and offered her a different perspective. “She asked me to take a look at it as a nurse,” Danielle explains. “I’ve been a registered nurse for 15 years, and when I looked at Melaleuca from that standpoint, it made perfect sense to me, and I just fell in love with all the products.” True to her profession, Danielle first put in a lot of research, watching the videos in the Getting Started section of the Business Center, studying product labels, and investigating ingredients. “I had to be comfortable with what we had before sharing it with others,” she says. She began to tell her friends in the medical profession about what she had found, and many of them were interested. It was then she realized

she could build a Melaleuca business. “It was awesome,” she recalls. “There is no inventory, no overheard, and when I got my first $500 check, I said, ‘Hold on, this is a real company!’” As she shares Melaleuca with others, she has a simple piece of advice. “You don’t have to be great to start,” Danielle says, “but you have to start to be great. Take a chance on you. There’s no one better to take a chance on, and you’re going to be amazed at the rewards you’re going to receive along the way. You really have nothing to lose. Melaleuca is an incredible secret. I wish I’d known about this company years ago.” Danielle has already started to see the rewards of her own efforts. She and her husband had put a plan in place to pay off all their debt in five years, and now that she has found Melaleuca, they are working toward that dream. But that’s

not all Danielle is looking forward to. “People call my husband and me frugal,” she explains. “I’ve never had a brand-new car off the lot, but when I reach Senior Director, I’m going to get a brand-new car that I get to put the miles on, and that’s exciting!” Her favorite part of her Melaleuca business isn’t what it’s doing for her. It’s what it’s doing for those around her. “I became a registered nurse because I wanted to help people,” Danielle says. “And even though I’m not in the hospital right now, I’m still helping people. I’m helping them find healthier products and an additional income. And that’s a really good feeling. I already love Melaleuca. I’m not going anywhere.”
