Entertainment

Our companies are dedicated to make sure that your guests are going to have a phenomenal time. At the heart of everything we do is a desire to entertain and delight our clients.

Located in the Boston’s historic North End for over 20 years, Improv Asylum is home to some of the country’s funniest improvisors. Open seven nights a week, the theatre has earned its reputation as one of the most reliable brands in comedy. With a full roster of classes, corporate training and so much more, Improv Asylum has it all!

Located in the Westin Waterfront Hotel in Boston’s Seaport District and connected to the Boston Convention and Expo Center – Laugh Boston is a state-of-the-art venue that is the home every weekend to both local comedians and nationally touring headliners. Enjoy a show. Enjoy a cocktail. Come on out and laugh, Boston!

Customized Shows “Being perfectly okay with not knowing what the hell is going on” is a mantra for our performers, but you don’t need to worry. You’re in reliable hands.

Private Shows

Ever felt like a comedy show was speaking directly to you? We can make sure that your group is the star with a customized show. Our cast is briefed ahead of time by you. So while the show is crafted on-the-spot, based on suggestions from the audience, the performers set in their comedic scenes in your organization, creating a one-of-a-kind comedic experience.

After Work Parties

Are you working with a smaller group, but want to treat them to an evening out? For groups of 45 or less, we offer a 45-minute room rental with your choice to customize catering and bar options, followed by a 45-minute private show. Because these parties happen before our regular programming, everyone’s on their way home by 7:30 -- it’s perfect!

Road Shows

Whether you’re running orientation at one of the many colleges in Boston or a sales conference at Disney World, our improvisors have traveled the world performing for audiences as small as a dozen or as large as several thousand. If you’ve got the space and want to fill it with laughter, we’ve got the show for you.

Stand-up Comedy Bringing in a stand-up comedian is the perfect “out of the box” solution for a quick burst of energy to open up or close out your event.

Stand-up comedy is one of the most beloved and familiar forms of entertainment, and Laugh Boston is one of the top venues for stand-up in the United States. Every week, the club is home to some of the top local, national and international headliners. Our teamwill provide a hilarious comedian that matches the exact right tone for your event, from content subject to language rating to runtime. Stand- ups can adjust the running times of their sets to accomodate your event’s schedule, but most are best set up for success in 20 minute segments.

Or, if you’ve got the budget, we can work with our national talent bookers to bring in a marquee name headliner from anywhere in the world!

Team Building Want to add some learning and laughter to your event? We’ve trained some of the best organizations in the world, and they keep coming back for more.

It’s time to find a new training experience that will leave your whole team buzzing with energy and ready to innovate, without having to trust fall into the arms of senior management.

Working closely with your group, we’ll customize a program that’s based on your organization’s needs that produces immediate results. Using the same improv techniques our actors employ on stage, we’ll inspire your team to work together, flex their creative muscles and produce more innovative ideas… all while sharing a few laughs in the process.

Find out why organizations like Intel, Google, Twitter, PwC, Carl Zeiss, Harvard, MIT, and Nokia have all tapped into our unique and effective training approach to help them continue to be industry leaders.

Karaoke & VR/Gaming Think your group has the talent to entertain the room with song? Hand them the mic and see — or maybe they’re ready to compete in an otherworldy adventure!

Nothing goes better after a few cocktails than handing people a microphone and letting their inner diva or rock god let loose. With our karaoke package offerings, we also provide a host who’s skilled at encouraging people to sign- up and managing who’s on deck — all while entertaining and keeping the show humming along. It doesn’t matter if your group is all about Super Smash Brothers or if they’re more into old-school cool arcade games, we’ve got it all. Running a gaming event can be as structured as a tournament, as loose as laying out the games and letting the group play as little or as much as they’d like, or as wild as working with one of our VR partners to bring your guests a fully-immersive world that will leave them amazed.

Audio Visual

From projecting a PowerPoint presentation to a fully- immersive nightclub atmosphere, our venues can provide the look and sound you need for your event to be a smash.

Improv Asylum can host your event either in our front room or on our main stage. Events in the front room have access to handheld microphones and streaming audio services with TVs to display messaging. Our mainstage has all of that, with a full tech booth available to run the theatrical lights of the stage as well as projection capabilities. Disco ball included at no cost!

Events at Laugh Boston have AV technicians available at all times to help you with your event. With huge projection screens for presentations and video content, a full array of body and handheld microphones, your event can be as customized as you need it to be with large flat-screen tvs throughout the venue to display your event’s branding.

Catering

The secret to keeping people happy starts with filling their bellies. And we have enough options to satisfy even the finickiest of discrimating palattes.

We’re keeping it light and fresh at Improv Asylumwhen it comes to our catering partners. Private shows begin with catering service in the front room before the show starts where we have the ability for passed appetizers as well as a buffet line. We have a list of vendors who have a proven track record of delivering delicious food, time after time.

Laugh Boston is so spacious that we can accomodate up to 300 people in our main room, seated! Or if you’re looking to open up the room, we can let people mingle with food atop high top tables. Check with your event manager on catering options, or enjoy Laugh Boston’s own in-house menu with sandwiches, light bar fare and made-to-order pizzas.

Beverages

It doesn’t matter if you want to spring for an “Open Bar” for your event or have it be a cash bar, we can whip up a bespoke cocktail that’s pretty damn tasty for your group. Or, you know... the usual selection of domestic light beers works too.

Your guests can saddle up to the bar in our front room for a full selection of beer, wine and cordial-based cocktails. Headed into the show and want to make sure you don’t miss a single second? Grab a friend and split a bucket of beers together!

With cocktail servers able to expertly navigate the room, your guests won’t need to move once they get comfortable. A full liquor license allows our mixologists to create some of the most potent potables available in Boston. Looking to make something even more memorable? Work with us ahead of time to develop custom cocktails that you can name!

n behalf of everyone from Stanton Chase who attended your show last night, a HUGE shout out to the Actors, and the staff at the Improv Asylum. Our group had a wonderful experience. The entire show was done remarkably well, and the Actors ability to interpret and find humor in our work was priceless. During our global events we typically invite clients for drinks, business conversation, and networking. However, we chose an evening of laughter instead. We gambled a bit on our normal agenda, and it was pure genius. It was a tremendous team building and collegial event. Team Improv Asylum did a great job and I would highly recommend to others.”

CHRIS ARNOLD Managing Director, Stanton Chase

This is an

place to go to for a company outing! Everyone was so accommodating to our needs and they made sure everything was done by the time my office got there! AMAZING

Everyone said that it was the best they’ve been to in a long time!!

Highly recommended for any corporate event!”

CAITLIN HAYES Office Coordinator Data Dog

It was great to look around the room and see senior leaders and new hires alike laughing in hysterics. The team really got across the message of thinking on your feet and building off one another’s ideas while having fun and being able to network in a relaxed, judgment-free atmosphere.” Please send a sincere thanks to your team at Improv Asylum for another great event this year.
