Professionalism Commitment

Central Ohio Primary Care (COPC) is committed to the highest standards of professionalism and safety in patient care. Professionalism includes promoting respect, integrity, compassion, and accountability and is critical to provide high quality patient care. To meet these high standards, all members of the COPC community are expected to model, promote, and advocate for engaging in professional and ethical interactions with colleagues, patients, and the public in all that we do. Professionalism is integral to the founding Areas of Focus of COPC reflecting who we are as individuals and as an organization and are what sets us apart from other healthcare organizations. “At Will” Employment Employment at COPC is “at will” for all employees who are hired to work for COPC. This means employees are free to resign at any time and COPC may terminate the employment relationship at any time, for any reason not prohibited by law. As an “at will” employee, it is not guaranteed in any manner that employees will be employed with COPC for any set period of time. An employee’s job description may be amended, modified, or terminated at any time by COPC.
