Fresh faces and important meetings In May, Carolyn Frank was appointed North Director, having joined the FMB from the Federation of Small Businesses. She is focused on raising the profile of the FMB and strengthening the three area boards in the North. Carolyn said “It was great to meet representatives from our region at FMB’s parliamentary reception in May, which launched the FMB’s flagship campaign ‘Licence to Build’. “Members wanting to be more involved should get in touch. You could be a podcast guest, media spokesperson or provide us with a case study.” The three area board AGMs in the North took place in June, with further meetings scheduled throughout summer and autumn. Members should save the date for an exciting open event in Leeds on 4 December.
