DR. R. G. LEE FEATURED A T COMMENCEMENT former President of the Southern Baptist Convention and pastor for 33 years of the Belle vue Baptist Church of Memphis, Ten nessee, will deliver the featüre address D r . R. G. L e e ,

Dial

1960, he has been Pastor Emeritus of the Bellevue Church, devoting his time exclusively to an extended itin erant ministry which has taken him to many parts of the world. Special music will be provided by the Biola College Chorale, conducted by Mr. Marvin McKissick, director of the Biola College Music Depart ment. Dr. Samuel H. Sutherland, President of Biola, will preside at the Commencement exercises, assisted by Dr. Charles L. Feinberg, Dean of Tal bot Seminary, Dr. James Christian, Dean of Biola College, Miss Leonie Soubirou, Director of the School of Missionary Medicine, and Dr. Ray Myers, Chairman of the Biola Board of Directors. GROUND BROKEN FOR MYERS HALL, TA LBO T THEOLOG ICAL SEMINARY Mrs. Ray A. Myers, wife of the chairman of Biola’s Board of Direc tors, turned the first shovel-full of dirt at recent groundbreaking ceremonies for Myers Hall, key structure in the facilities of the Talbot Theological Seminary. Following an address by Dr. Louis T. Talbot, chancellor, vari ous members of the Myers family had the privilege of “ turning the sod” which signaled the start of construc tion for the $180,000 memorial build ing. It is being named in honor of Dr. and Mrs. Myers, daughter, Nancy, who went home to be with the Lord several years ago. PIPE ORGAN AVAILABLE FOR MEMORIAL Living memorials are appropriate means of remembering loved ones who have gone home to be with the Lord. Perhaps one of the most signi ficant memorials which is available for consideration is the large Shantz Pipe Organ, now under construction for Biola. For those whose loved ones enjoyed music, this majestic instru ment will make a fitting tribute in Christian ministry. It will be used by countless numbers of young people preparing for the Lord’s service until He comes. A descriptive folder on the instrument, listing its many impor tant features and stops, is now avail able. Professor Marvin McKissick, di rector of the Music Department, will be happy to answer any questions rel ative to these matters. TH E KING'S BUSINESS
