THE IMPERIAL ESTATE

South Kensington is our main campus and it is here that most undergradu- ate and postgraduate activity takes place. It’s a compact site in the heart of ‘Albertopolis’ and is home to a huge range of architectural styles from the Edwardian Royal School of Mines building to the ultra-modern Norman Fos- ter-designed Business School. There’s plenty of green space too, including a beautiful landscaped square, with our famous Queen’s Tower at one end. Imperial’s White City campus is a platform for innovation and entrepreneur- ship at the heart of a vibrant area to live, work and play. The College is driv- ing this evolution with a £2 billion investment in a new 23-acre integrated collaborative campus. As a central pillar of this vision, the Molecular Scienc- es Research Hub is the first facility to host Imperial research and teaching staff. Silwood Park is located about 25 miles West of Central London, near the village of Sunninghill in Ascot, Berkshire. Situated in about 100ha of natural parkland, it has been part of Imperial College since 1947. It was first famous as a centre for applied entomology before developing a world-wide reputation as a centre for excellence in pure and applied ecolo- gy. Since the 1990s research interests have expanded to include evolution, biodiversity and conservation. We also have an extensive network of medical teaching and research cam- puses in partnership with leading NHS Trusts at the following locations: • Charing Cross Campus, Hammersmith.
