JOB DESCRIPTION

OTHER • Degree level electrical or mechanical engineer or qualified to a minimum HNC in a building services related subject – Preferably CEng or IEng or working towards CEng. • Minimum of 10-years’ experience in a building services management role, having a level of construction or project management experience. • Self- Motivated and able to work, and inspire a team to work under pressure. • Possess a good all round knowledge of building services in general, but especially electrical power, mechanical, water treatment and cooling tower operations, refrigeration, lefts/escalators, controls, heating, ventilation and air conditioning. • On a rota basis, provide operational engineering cover for weekends, bank holidays and late night store opening. • Be a great leader of teams, looking to continuously improve self, others and the department. • Represent Head of Facilities and other colleagues, maintaining the departments reputation.

KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS (KPI’S) • PPMs 95% Completion in month • Reactive Task Completion 90% within month • Staff turnover < 5% • Sickness Management <2.5% • Energy Management reduction proportional to assets managed • Customer complaints – reducing year on year
