Priya earned her Physical Therapist Assistant degree from Concorde College in 2015 after completing a Bachelor’s degree in Physiological Sciences at UCLA in 2012. Shehad thehonorof receiving theDanielPutnamAward inhergraduating class for demonstrating exemplary professional and ethical attributions in the Physical Therapist Assistant program. Before joining Peak Orthopedic, Priya worked at a rehabilitation hospital where she gained experience treating a variety of complex cases including patients with neurological impairments, bariatric disabilities, cardiopulmonary disorders, and amputations. Although she greatly enjoyed her time working in acute care rehab, Priya had the opportunity to challenge herself in a new field after moving to the South Bay. She quickly adapted to outpatient orthopedic care with the team at Peak Orthopedic Physical Therapy. She believes that physical therapy should be a fun, positive and educational experience for everyone.
