The Quarry Golf Club
Nestled in the heart of Naples, The Quarry Golf Club stands as a testament to transformation and excellence. Originally a working limestone quarry, the land was known locally as “Piper’s Pasture,” a haven for hunters seeking wild game. In 2007, the renowned architectural duo Dr. Michael Hurdzan and Dana Fry reimagined this rugged terrain into a Par 72 championship golf course that seamlessly integrates with the natural landscape (www.quarrygolfnaples.com). The course's unique design features five sets of tees and Sea Dwarf Paspalum grass, accommodating golfers of all skill levels. Water comes into play on nearly every hole, offering both beauty and challenge. A notable landmark is the drag-line crane atop Hole #5, a nod to the site's industrial. The Quarry Golf Club utilizes ForeTees, providing members with the convenience of 14-day advanced tee time booking. Weekly play is highlighted by Ladies’ Day on Tuesdays (both 18-hole and 9-hole formats), followed by Gentlemen’s Day on Wednesdays, fostering a fun and competitive community atmosphere. The Golf Club hosts a variety of major golf events throughout the season, including the Men’s and Ladies’ Invitationals, Club Championships, Couples Golf, the spirited Big Ten Shootout, and the popular North vs. South competition.
