As part of the International Corrugated Packaging Founda- tion’s (ICPF’s) ongoing efforts to support workforce devel- opment across the corrugated packaging industry, it has shared the July edition of its monthly National Workforce Displacement Report. This report compiles publicly available information related to announced plant closures and workforce re- ductions across the U.S. The goal is to provide timely workforce intelligence that may help companies identify potential recruitment opportunities, better understand re- gional labor market trends, and proactively support work- force planning efforts. Each monthly report may include information such as: • Company name • Facility location • Industry segment • Number of affected employees • Announcement date • Local workforce or employer contact information By consolidating this information into a single report, ICPF aims to help partners stay informed about emerging talent opportunities and changing workforce trends. The report is distributed via email and posted on ICPF’s web- site at the end of each month.
