Joe Muller joins Pacificolor as Oper- ations and Technical Manager, based in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Muller will focus on strengthening Pacificolor’s technical support capabilities, working directly with customers on press-side assistance, print approvals, customer fingerprinting, press characterization and onboarding programs.
Pacificolor Tad Timmler and Joe Muller have been appointed to key operational roles in Pacificolor LLC, a provider of flexog- raphic plate solutions for the North American flexible and corrugated packaging markets. The appointments are part of Pacif- icolor’s broader investment strategy to expand technical resources, en- hance manufacturing capabilities and provide customers with the highest levels of service and support in the flexographic marketplace. Tad Timmler has joined Pacificolor as Operations Manager at the company’s Salt Lake City, Utah, headquarters. Timmler will support Pacificolor’s operational growth initiatives while driving improvements in efficiency, quali- ty, and scalability. Prior to joining Pacificolor, Timmler held leadership roles including Production Manager at Hand- stands and Production Director at Dometag Brand Labels. His background includes leading complex production environments, implementing Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies, and developing operational strate- gies that improve throughput and reduce waste. With extensive hands-on experience supporting flexo- graphic printing operations, Muller will help customers op- timize plate performance, improve print consistency, and achieve greater efficiency throughout the production pro- cess. He will also oversee daily operations at Pacificolor’s Minnesota plate manufacturing facility and manage GMG proofing operations.

UK repro house MPH has upgraded its solvent-wash plate production with AFP-REVO HF, reportedly achieving short- er drying times, expected solvent savings and greater pro- duction flexibility. In recent years, MPH has invested more than £750,000 in modernising its production environment, including new software and servers, plate developers, an additional CDI imager and LED exposure technology.
