Judges’ Comments The Judges in the Best L&D

and social learning platforms are being adopted. The Judges noted that the potential for AI to automate and personalise L&D has yet to be fully realised, with some organisations in this category clearly still very early in their AO adoption journeys, a development which has clear potential benefits, including quick wins for both small and large-scale L&D teams who should move immediately to exploit AI as soon as possible. Organisation category noted that L&D is clearly currently undergoing rapid transformation, with several clear trends emerging across the finalist organisations. Blended learning models, which combine in-person and digital approaches, are now widely favoured as they provide both flexibility and deeper engagement, with post- COVID learnings in technology, content curation, and delivery being applied by L&D teams. Importantly, training is no longer confined to senior staff, with organisations providing opportunities at all levels, including frontline workers and new hires. New training methods such as gamification, simulations,
