KEEP THE SOCIAL IN SOCIAL MEDIA

Social media can feel overwhelming these days. With constant algorithm changes, shifting trends, and the frustration of spending hours on content that flops, it’s easy to get discouraged. But, there is ONE constant that remains true: The algorithm always favors accounts with high ENGAGEMENT… Basically, social media platforms LOVE accounts that take part in meaningful conversations. It’s all about building community and nurturing your audience.

1) Engage with Industry Influencers. Create a list of 10-15 influencers in your industry. Interact with their content daily. Like their posts and leave thoughtful comments. They recognize this, and they reward this! People are eager to connect with brands and people. They want to engage in conversations and form deeper connections - that’s why a personalized approach is so essential! How to Use Social Media Engagement to Your Advantage: You can even go the extra mile and engage with other users’ comments on the same post. Not only will the algorithm notice this, but other people will recognize your account! People will WANT to follow you, leading to more connections. 2) Connect with Ideal Clients. Find 10 new, ideal clients daily. Follow them, then like and comment on their most recent post. Do NOT pitch to them in the comments! Instead, show them that you’re here to genuinely support their work. This approach will naturally spark their interest in you. More people are likely to respond if they can tell you’re creating a relationship built on trust rather than a hard sell.
