The EUDR mandates that all products placed on or exported from the EU market must be deforestation-free, legally produced, and accompanied by a due diligence statement that includes geolocation of the harvest source. To meet these stringent requirements, QWEB is developing innovative software tailored to forest management data, ensuring our members are equipped to provide EUDR-certified lumber. This open- source software will be available to all, ensuring that Quebec’s hardwood products can smoothly enter the European market while maintaining our commitment to sustainable and responsible forestry practices. With over 125 manufacturers under our wing, QWEB not only develops markets but also ensures

accessibility and technical support for our members, making Quebec’s hardwood synonymous with quality and sustainability worldwide. As we continue to develop and expand our markets, especially in Asia, we remain dedicated to promoting the use of wood, providing technical support, and ensuring the highest standards of quality and sustainability.
