Why did you choose health care at UW-Stevens Point: UW-Stevens Point genuinely cares for students and provides students with many opportunities and hands-on experience. For me a big reason why I chose UW-Stevens Point was because the great communication sciences and disorders program, and the professors truly are there to help in any way they can. UWSP is a supportive environment that equips students with the necessary skills for success. graduate school and become a speech- language pathologist. I would love to work with toddlers or school-age children either in a school setting or doing home visits. A dream of mine would to be a traveling speech therapist or open my own private practice! I aspire to help support families and children through aiding communication and developmental skills. Special Skills/Talents: I have a passion for working with kids, and I believe that I can connect with kids and get on their level to meet them where they are at. I have patience and empathy which helps me to see the best in others and truly understand their potential. Also, I enjoy music and I consider singing a talent.
