Why did you choose health care at UW-Stevens Point:
I chose health care at UWSP because it provides numerous opportunities to help others maintain a balanced and healthy lifestyle. I enjoy helping others and watching their progression toward a positive behavior change. Studying this field has improved my awareness for my own health and wellness, and I believe I’m well-suited for it because I’m an open-minded and open-hearted individual. Obtaining those qualities has made learning about the broadness of the field a lot easier and enjoyable. As a future health and wellness professional, I learned the importance of influencing others and building business relationships, while being your true authentic self. No matter what career in health care, I will get the opportunity to make a lasting impact on others and become the best version of myself that I can be. Career Aspirations: My professional goals following graduation are to start my career in the corporate wellness industry, help others maintain a healthy and balanced lifestyle, improve my networking skills, and become an expert in my field of study.
