Jan. 26 - Mar. 9* Mon. 6:30-7:30 PM $124/$148 Easy to learn, the sport teaches courage, quick thinking and perseverance. The course is taught by Fred Sims, a certified fencing instructor by the United States Fencing Coaches Association. All fencers will be required to wear masks during class. All equipment will be furnished. A $25 equipment fee, payable by check will be due the first class. Parents are encouraged to stay and observe. Class limit is 10 students. Beachwood Bison Soccer Academy Beachwood Recreation is proud to partner with the Beachwood Board of Education and the Shaker Youth Soccer Association to provide this quality soccer program in our community. One practice weekly plus either a Saturday or Sunday game encouraging skill and tactical development. There are no tryouts and we strive to provide every player substantial playing time. Players are also given the opportunity to play in different positions. Beginning Fencing Instructor: Cleveland Fencing
Cleveland Fencing Academy is a 7800 sq. feet state-of-the-art fencing and sports facility for kids/adults right in Beachwood with 17 Olympic fencing strips. The program puts a strong emphasis on footwork and eye-hand coordination. The students continue studying the general rules of fencing and begin fencing in pairs. This class introduces the students to fencing tactics and exercises in distance, timing, execution, and provides an introduction to electrical fencing.
