PRESIDENT’S NOTE
Sept. 10, 2025
Luna Community College is proud to be a Hispanic-Serving Institution, joining 23 sister colleges across New Mexico in celebrating National HSI Week, September 8–14, 2025. HSIs are designated by the U.S. Department of Education when at least 25% of enrollment is Hispanic, an honor that reflects the communities we serve. This month, we celebrate the vital role HSIs play in opening doors, building strong local economies, and preparing students for brighter futures in Colfax, Guadalupe, Mora, and San Miguel Counties. The best way to honor this mission is by sharing your story, how Luna has made a difference in your journey. Together, we create opportunity, strengthen communities, and shape tomorrow.
