The Luna Foundation is proud to continue the legacy of Helen E. O’Brien (1919–2011) through the Helen O’Brien Nursing Scholarship. A dedicated nurse and public health pioneer, Helen served
communities across northern New Mexico, establish- ing essential programs in family planning, home health care, and primary care for migrant workers. Her gen- erosity and commitment to education live on through this scholarship, helping Luna students pursue their dreams in nursing while honoring her remarkable contributions to our community.
