Cremation fees & information The cremation fee, whether a full or committal-only service, includes the following:- • Necessary trained personnel to provide full professional services for all aspects of administration, memorialisation and registration of a cremation • Full information on all services provided at East Devon Crematorium • Facilities of a waiting room, service hall with appropriate crematorium assistants on the day and during the service • Access to audio, visual and music facilities • Medical referee authorisation fee • Completion of a full mercury-abated cremation in accordance with all statutory regulations and environmental legislation • Preparation of ashes for removal or scattering • Provision of a biodegradable cardboard urn and temporary storage of ashes for up to 3 months • Provision of an official cremation certificate for ashes disposal • Scattering of ashes in a specially designated area • Availability of a book of remembrance within a dedicated room • Full information and guidance on the various forms of memorials and memorialisation associated with ashes, about which we will contact you following the cremation. • All prices include any associated VAT and are applicable for all services received from 30 January 2025. • We welcome pre-funeral visits at all times, please contact us for more information.
