In Oslo, 2002, Roger Brown is a new headhunter at the exclusive recruitment agency Alfa and does whatever he can to quickly climb the career ladder. This leads him to a prestigious assignment: finding a new CEO for the oil company Njord Oil. Along the way he meets art student Diana. He is willing to do everything to impress her, but it’s hard for a newly hired headhunter who still lives in his father’s worn-down, two-bedroom apartment. Through his job, Roger also encounters a gun-loving good-for- nothing named Ove, whom he decides to use to make some quick money and impress Diana. Things are looking good for Roger Brown, until his lies and willingness to take dubious shortcuts lead him into a bloody conflict involving an ice-cold British assassin, Bridge-playing mailmen in search of the truth, and Julie, a straightforward detective with a penchant for sensible footwear and young men. Roger is forced to do everything he can to preserve his façade and his girlfriend, not to mention his life. HEADHUNTERS Norwegian WRITERS: Rolf Magne G.
