GRIME KIDS is a brand new, fictional story from award winning writer Theresa Ikoko and inspired by the best-selling book of the same name by DJ Target. The drama series set in 2001, vibrant East London, and follows a group of teenagers who over the course of the summer set out to get their music played on the airwaves. While trying to realise their musical dreams, the friends navigate first loves, disapproving parents, brushes with danger, making money and figuring out what kind of man you want to be when the world still sees you as a kid. This series is a celebration of culture, community and the joyous exploration of the grime music genre that has taken over the world. GRIME KIDS
