What an incredible time to be in the cattle business with record high feeder and fed cattle prices and unprecedented demand for our product, BEEF! There is nothing like the black Angus female. She is the backbone of an industry that expects her to wean a heavy calf while breeding back in time for next season’s crop, all the while she needs to be efficient, and maybe most of all, longevity oriented. We have worked very hard to select for females that are broody, easy fleshing, sound footed, good uddered and easy to look at! It’s not easy to combine all of those antagonistic traits, but we feel that this offering more than ever before best represents the kind that we are working hard to produce.
