This Cantrel duo became a reality during covid while Jesse Breytenbach was doing zoom classes for high school from Home. Matthew Mole Always By My Side
Matthew Mole dropped his latest single “Always By My Side”, serving as the lead single from the album “Wake Up, It’s Morning”. He entrusted the songwriting and production to Ross Hamilton, who has worked with Ella Eyre and Nathan Evans. Hamilton’s contribution marks Mole’s entry into international songwriting and production collaboration. Following hits like “I’m With You,” “Goodbye,” and “See Me Again,” “Always By My Side” maintains the songwriter’s uplifting essence. Using personal struggles as a springboard, it leads to a brighter perspective, giving a lively and festival-friendly vibe. Matthew says of the song, “The song is about the battle in my mind of facing difficulty and knowing that I will make it through and be okay. Things can appear impossible and hopeless, and my thoughts can take me to a depressing place, keeping me awake at night. However, there is a miraculous grace that comes with each new day that gives me the strength to fight and see that there is hope.”
