Expand engagement with external constituencies to ensure sustained excellence. We will expand our partnerships and engagement with external constituencies to ensure sustained excellence and enhancement of the college. We desire to build alliances that are beneficial with industry partners. There are three broad areas of benefit from this engagement: research opportunities, philanthropic support and external relations, including increased opportunities to serve on panels, boards, conferences and committees. This will serve to increase the visibility and profile of the college within the aviation and aerospace industry. Objectives: Expand and enhance the college’s engagement with industry, government, associations and academia Promote a culture that rewards faculty and staff for external collaborative partnerships Strengthen and expand the philanthropic support of the college through strategic stewardship of alumni, industry partners, donors, friends and students Utilize advisory boards to promote and enhance programs Develop partnerships that result in increased opportunities for faculty and students to participate on panels, boards, conferences and committees Exercise superior safety management in all that we do. Like most organizations, we seek to manage safety within our operations to protect our people from harm and to protect our workplace from hazards. Through intentional education and training, we will inculcate a safety mindset in our students that they will carry with them to the industry. Our safety management has created a strong safety culture that exists not only in the present but, through our graduates, is projected into the aviation industry we serve. Objectives:
