observed and admired his incredible work ethic and networking ability for years. Working in the same office as him has given me the ability to learn first-hand from him on a professional level. I also have the fortunate benefit of seeing him often after hours and on weekends. Discussing real estate has always been a 24/7 topic of conversation in our household. Since I was young, he has influenced not only my work ethic, but my character as well. What impact has social
media/networking had on your career? Social media and network- ing have made it easier to stay in contact and con- nected with colleagues and friends in the industry. I have friends who work with other commercial real estate firms and real estate related companies, and social media enables me to interact with them, keep up with their accomplishments and share relevant experiences. We used social media to start a brokers networking group for people who are new to the industry or who haven’t been in the business for many years, and we have had some networking events previously and plan to have more this year. What unique qualities and or personality traits do you feel makes you most successful in your profession? I enjoy meeting and speak- ing with people and have often been told that I am very outgoing and person- able. I also enjoy learning about new business and feel that this industry gives me the ability to constantly grow since I meet new and interesting people every day. I know that to be successful in this business you need to build a strong network of per- sonal relationships, and this is something I focus on daily. What outside activities do you enjoy during you free time? I enjoy watching/attending sporting events including New York Mets games and New Jersey Devils games. I have been coaching Varsity Soccer for several years and enjoy giving back to the sport that I played for so many years at my former high school. After a long day, I like to unwind by reading, listening to music or watching a great movie or something on television. What inspiring word of advice would you give to a young executive graduat- ing from college? I would suggest taking the time to understand why you want to work for a certain company because loving what you do and where you work will make you feel rewarded and happy. the industry? My role is to prospect own- ers and companies in several local counties to gain listings and tenant representation assignments. My goal is to be the best broker that I can be for my clients and to be the best teammate for my col- leagues.
