Lust Angus is run by Tim and Dru Lust in Abernathy, Texas with the support of Lea Ann (Tim’s wife), Taylor (Dru’s wife), Gryder, Benaiah, and Emmitt (Dru and Taylor’s children). Along with our 3 amazing employees James Head, Guillermo Marquez, and Alisa Oswalt. Our roots trace all the way back to 1959 as part of the Hinkson Angus ranch in Lazbuddie, Texas. The long-lasting goal of Lust Angus is to raise Angus cattle that work for the commercial cattleman in a real-world environment. Our cattle are bred to be sound on their feet and legs with the ability to travel long distances and endure the terrain. We continue to focus on using the top AI bulls in the industry and embryo transfer to continue to improve our herd. We work hard to produce genetics that will help you increase the profitability of your herd. We are honored to have the quality, long-term relationships we have made with our customers thus far. We also look forward to making new relationships with new customers as our operation continues to grow. *All bulls are guaranteed to be breeders. All bulls selling for $5,000 or more are guaranteed against breeding injury for the first breeding season. Breeding season is defined as the 90-day period following the first turnout of the bulls. If a replacement bull is available, he will be provided; or if the buyer prefers, credit will be given toward a bull at the following year’s sale, less salvage
value of the injured bull. Salvage value will be valued at $2,200 and Lust Angus Angus will provide credit on any amount over that. The buyer will receive whatever the actual salvage value is. Notification must be given to us prior to selling the injured bull. We do not guarantee against death for any reason. Insurance is available to purchase in case of mortality. We offer discount of 3% on 5-9 head 5% on 10 or more.
