Metro New Jersey Chapter 2016 President, Gregg Manzione, MAI The Appraisal Institute continues to offer the highest level of education and professional level of ethics and standards as well as providing various resources to our peers. Our next event is a dinner meeting on September 28 th at the Primavera Regency in Stirling. The featured speakers will be discussing Industrial Markets-focus on the Meadowlands and the Capital Markets. (2 credits). October 21 st , the 14 th Annual Fall Conference will take place at the Holiday Inn, Clark- 7 credits submitted to NJ, NY, Assessors and Realtor Boards (PA Appraisal Board is reciprocal with NJ). The Metro New Jersey Chapter continues to provide the education to meet appraisers’ needs: If you are looking for licensing courses and continuing education, contact our chapter executive director, Debra Miller to find out what’s on the schedule or request a course or seminar. In order to continue offering quality education and high profile conferences and events the chapter has a sponsorship program to support these programs and promote your business. There are 76,800 appraisers in the U.S. and with the majority being residential appraisers. The Appraisal Institute represents 25% of the overall total and 50% of the general/commercial appraisers. 14 th Annual Fall Conference – Friday, October 21, 2016 The program was recently approved for 7 Hours by the Appraisal Institute and the New York Real Estate Appraisers Board and submitted for 7 hours to the New Jersey Real Estate Appraisers Board, the New Jersey Tax Assessors Board, and the Insurance and Banking Board for Real Estate Broker/Realtor credits.
