Travel Goods retailer to occupy 3,900 s/f at Erie, PA, Shopping Center Levin negotiates lease with luggage designers at Liberty Center
RIE, PA — Locally based luggage and travel goods retailer Luggage Designers has leased 3,900 s/f at Liberty Center in Erie. The 229,000 s/f shopping center is leased and managed by Levin Management . Levin leasing representative Jordan Korris negotiated the long-term lease. “Luggage Designers has out- grown its existing location, and we are pleased to be able to meet its larger space require- ments at Liberty Center,” said Korris. “With its strong demographics and convenient location, Liberty Center is an E
excellent place for local and na- tional retailers to do business. As we continue to expand and diversify the center’s tenant mix, Luggage Designers – with its unique line of customizable merchandise – will only add to Liberty Center’s appeal.” Situated near I-90 at the intersection of West 38th and Liberty streets, just off of Peach St., Liberty Center is located in the residential heart of Erie. The center serves a growing population of more than 160,000 people within a five-mile radius. Anchored by supermarket chain Tops Friendly Markets and
Peebles department store, Liberty Center’s co-tenan- cy includes Harbor Freight Tools, Dollar Tree, Fred’s Furniture, Rent-A-Center, Payless ShoeSource, H&R Block, Dickey’s Barbecue Pit and GNC, among others. Several prime retail spaces currently are available at Liberty Center, ranging from 2,800 s/f to up to 14,000 s/f. A 5,800 s/fend cap with pylon signage on Peach Street also is available. n Markward Group leases 61,157 s/f to VYC Tires ALLENTOWN, PA — MARKWARD GROUP of Allentown, recently leased 61,157 s/f of space at 7072 Snowdrift Rd., to VYC Tires, Inc. Ethan Medgie , of Mark- ward Group, represented the tenant, while the landlord, DCT Industrial Trust , out of Maryland, represented itself. Markward Group leased 1,250 s/f of space in the Lehigh Valley Office Plaza, located at 1150 Glenlivet Dr., just off of Rte. 100, to Simply IT, who provide small to medium- sized businesses affordable, managed IT solutions. Ann Kline , of Markward Group, represented the ten- ant, while the landlord rep- resented itself. In a separate transaction, Markward Group announce d the completion of a lease with BaronHR at 5930 Hamilton Blvd., in Wescosville. This is the first East Coast office for BaronHR. They are settled in to their new space and open for business.
