Luzerne County Community College is a smart investment. And when you consider LCCC’s low tuition — especially compared to four-year public and private colleges — the extra incentive of financial aid makes college even more accessible. LCCC costs 50 - 75% less than other schools. That’s because the College is subsidized by Luzerne County and the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania to make your education more attainable and affordable. Many of our students (83%) receive some form of financial aid in addition to our low tuition. Besides the federal and state aid that we can help you obtain, generous supporters through our Foundation have made it possible to offer more than $400,000 each year in scholarships and student assistance to our students in need. This allows many of our students to graduate from Luzerne debt-free. That’s a great way to start your new life or career.
