Luzerne offers two year associate’s degrees. Upon graduation many students begin their careers. But what if you want to continue your education to earn a four-year bachelor, masters, or even your Ph.D.? Luzerne County Community College is accredited by Middle States Commission on Higher Education which means the credits that you earn at LCCC transfer to colleges and uni- versities across the nation. To make that transi- tion even easier, Luzerne has developed specific agreements with many colleges and universities.
Dual Admission
Students who participate in this program are considered admitted to LCCC and the institution they want to transfer to. While at LCCC, students are expected to meet all the required college or university conditions. Students may benefit from additional financial incentives depending on the dual admission institution including fee waivers, scholarships, and access to resources at both institutions. Some of the Colleges LCCC has dual admissions with include Bloomsburg University, Wilkes University, King’s College, Temple University, Misericordia University, Kutztown University, Scranton University, Marywood University, East Stroudsburg University, Keystone College, Susquehanna University, and more.
