Workplace Success Series The path to a successful career starts by taking the first step. This series, intended for those who are new to the workplace or developing their skills, will help participants learn and develop productive habits and skills that are essential in the modern workplace.
Navigating Challenges No matter your industry or title, everyone will encounter situations and conversations that may be difficult. A few of those challenges may be receiving feedback and handling conflict in a professional way. Participants will walk away with new tools to help them navigate challenging situations with more confidence and professionalism. Workplace Dynamics Today’s workforce is more diverse than ever and learning how to work with people who are different than you will be crucial to your professional success. In this session, participants will learn how diversity in the workforce enriches a team and how each member brings unique and valuable perspectives to the work environment. Personal Accountability Starts with Me This learning session provides a simple model for understanding what it means to be accountable to ourselves and others. Our actions, thoughts and behaviors can impact those around us and our overall success in the workplace. Personal Development and Communication Skills Thriving in the workplace begins by first truly understanding the self. During this session, participants will identify their personality and communication styles, how those styles impact others in the workplace, and how to best interact and communicate with those who are different than them. Professional Skills and Etiquette Develop the essential skills needed to thrive in the ever-evolving modern workplace. Participants will learn and discuss basic and advanced workplace etiquette and how emotional intelligence plays a pivotal role in expected workplace behavior. Personal Success Personal success begins with managing your work effectively. Participants will learn time management tips and tricks, how to create SMART goals and how building atomic habits can help cultivate a framework of success.
