At-Large Candidates for ISDS Board of Trustees Needed

Make sure to register for all of our upcoming FREE CE courses by visiting isds.ce21.com The ISDS Board of Trustees now includes an "at-large" position, established in 2022, which can be filled by a qualified member from any component society. Dr. Keith Evans currently holds this position until 2026. Candidates for the at-large trustee position must have served at least three terms in the House of Delegates and announce their candidacy at the House of Delegates meeting on September 13, 2025, or notify the Secretary afterward. Qualified candidates will receive confirmation by email.
The ISDS Bylaws explain the announcement process as follows: A candidate for the trustee at-large position shall not formally announce for office until the final day of the ISDS Annual Session House of Delegates meeting immediately preceding their candidacy. Candidates announcing after the final day of ISDS Annual Session House of Delegates must inform the Secretary of the House of their intent to run for the trustee at-large position. Campaign activities for the trustee at-large position will be limited to only a three-minute speech at the Opening Meeting of the House of Delegates in the year of the election.
