Turnaround Events

We have over 30 years’ experience in delivering successful multidiscipline turnaround events, either selected as the principal contractor role or main contractor role, our success is attributed to ensuring every small detail is sufficiently planned and execution strategies are detailed and developed. To accomplish this, our scheme of examinations which include defect maintenance, codal inspections, routine maintenance and projects are each developed to ensure a level 4 schedule is fully integrated. A detailed work list is categorised and assigned to an engineer, each engineer then collaborates with client representatives in developing the following set of documents:

Individual Job Cards - each are developed in the field and include:

Location

Work to be undertaken

Sequence of each activity

HSEQ considerations

Any associated activities

Materials

• Durations and subcontractor activities

To support the above activities a CDM file and QA documentation is compiled to provide accurate project records which are collated and handed over after each event.

All quality dossiers can then be archived and used for future events of a similar nature.

Modular Build

The dedicated module yard and associated laydown area is configured to maximise the efficiency of both our own staff and that of our customers by promoting multi-disciplined interfaces at the workface. Capitalising on our decades of experience in modular steelwork fabrication, whilst drawing upon new and improved methods for setting out and scanning using Total Station Theodolites (TST), we are able to deliver fully dressed Pre Assembled Units / Racks (PAU / PAR) with an improved degree of accuracy thus ensuring tie-in point coordinates are “right first time”. Continuous improvements and lessons learned have furnished the Company with numerous adaptable temporary stooling methods allowing for increased Self-Propelled Modular Transporter (SPMT) access and egress by contract lift specialists.

Module yard capabilities (include but are not limited to):

• Serviceable by mobile cranes, Mobile Elevated Work Platforms (MEWPs), all- terrain and side loader fork trucks • Access to deep water port via ENGIE Fabricom’s owned bridge crossing from module yard to Immingham port mitigating the risk of using public roads

• Separate set down area for contractor’s village independent of the facility’s main workshops • Floodlit and fully serviced by 110 V and 415 V power supplies • Trial assembly, Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT), disinvestment and preparation for shipping

Vessel dressing

Modular construction services:

Pre-Assembled Units / Racks (PAU / PAR)

• Dedicated laydown areas for subcontractors i.e. scaffold, fire proofing, EC&I etc.

Dressed Vessels (DRV)

• Adaptive perimeter gating and fencing to facilitate oversized vehicular load access and egress • Articulated wagon unloading stations within built provision for fall arrest protection

Skid units

Trial assembly and dis-assembly for transportation

“Again, a very safe and professional operation, with excellent communication by all of ENGIE Fabricom’s team - well done”

Commissioning

ENGIE Fabricom offers our clients’ commissioning management and execution as part of our service. Our commissioning team provides a complete service from factory to steady state operation. The smooth transition from construction through to commissioning is provided using our in-house completions system. This provides a history of inspection and testing of each tag at both the construction and the commissioning phase.

The engagement of the commissioning manager will be from the onset to support our engineering design with modelling. Our construction teams will then be supported to ensure installation is consistent with any commissioning requirements and at advanced stages of a build, ensure engineers and technicians prepare all test plans and commissioning procedures ready for mechanical completion. Early identification of these commissioning systems is highly beneficial to the success of the project.

The dynamic testing of equipment will be checked by commissioning technicians using the “B” check sheets.

When dynamic testing is complete the commissioning engineers will commence simulation checks using the commissioning test plans and the facility will then be started-up, system by system.
