He previously served 13 years as the Nation’s longest- serving Secretary of Commerce, overseeing more than 7,000 employees and 60 diversified businesses. Earlier, he led the development of the Chickasaw Nation Medical Center as Health System Administrator. Lance also serves as Chairman of Chickasaw Nation Industries, sits on several corporate and healthcare boards—including BancFirst and OU Health—and represents the Nation on key national committees. He holds degrees from the University of Oklahoma and East Central University and is a member of the Oklahoma Hall of Fame.
