HANDS TOGETHER FOR GROWTH IN TOURISM
On 17 March 2025, we also bid farewell to the third group of Tourism Monitors, who successfully completed their 12-month training programme— three months of theory followed by nine months of hands-on experience in the field. Their journey has been one of dedication, learning, and growth, and we have been honoured to witness their enthusiasm in action. At Dinokeng Game Reserve, we remain committed to supporting individuals in their tourism careers, equipping them with the skills and knowledge they need to thrive. We extend our heartfelt congratulations to Humbelani and the Tourism Monitors and wish them every success in their future endeavours. May they continue to learn, inspire, and make a difference in the world of tourism!
Humbelani Nemurangoni
At Dinokeng Game Reserve, we believe in the power of
collaboration—working hand in hand with organisations and communities to create opportunities for growth and learning in the tourism industry. One such success story is Humbelani Nemurangoni, a passionate 26-year- old with a Diploma in Tourism Management. As an Administration Intern, she has embraced every opportunity to explore, learn, and share knowledge. With a deep love for education and cultural exchange, she dreams of travelling the world, broadening her understanding, and inspiring others. Despite the challenges faced by many tourism graduates, Dinokeng Game Reserve and TTBISA have provided her with the platform to develop her skills and gain valuable industry experience.
The Tourism & Business Institute of South Africa (TTBISA) is a project management, consultancy, and training institute based in Cape Town, South Africa. Established to support the tourism and business sectors, TTBISA offers a range of services, including accredited training programs and project management consultancy. The institute is accredited by several esteemed organizations, such as CATHSSETA, FoodBev SETA, W&RSETA, MICT SETA, and LGSETA. With satellite offices across all nine provinces of South Africa, TTBISA provides students with exposure to their chosen industries, ensuring they gain essential work experience during their studies.
